I have traveled to a great number of states and had BBQ. But never tried...

...SC mustard so I don't know about that one. But it's mostly all good, just different. I even like Lexington but I have never tasted any as good as wood slow cooked Eastern NC BBQ. And most of the sides are the best. And I am not a native to NC. Never had Eastern style until I came to Greenville for college. The one exception to "it's mostly all good" is southeastern Alabama. Shredded so that it is like very, very, very fine noodles and drowned in a strong red sauce with enough "smoke" added you would think there was a forest fire close. Don't know if it has spread to a larger area but that is the only place I've had it. To say it is terrible is high praise. Just the thoughts of someone who has consumed a lot of BBQ hog and beef in a long lifetime.
