Yep, $4 million trumps family almost every time

With the right P5 gig he can either buy a house big enough for plenty of family or fly them back and forth as much as he wants. Houston knows the reality of coaching in College Football. You hit when the iron is hot. You have a window where you can make a ton of money. If he coaches ECU 2-4 years at $1.4 million per year and then gets a $20 million 5 year guaranteed contract from a P5 he is absolutely set for life.

VT and Fuente might not work out. Blacksburg is plenty close to his family. I am guessing VT would absolutely love to poach our Coach if he is successful especially with his ties to the Tidewater but lets hope Fuente improves enough to keep his job . I also hope we keep Houston 3-4 years and if he leaves it is because of great success. Based on what we have coming back talent wise and our schedule he would be working wonders to win 7 games next year. Year two maybe with Holton as a seasoned Jr we have a break out year but I think Holton's Senior year would be the year that ECU could make some serious noise. If we do I could definitely see Houston leaving with Holton graduating
