However, the CBI tournament does choose teams from power conferences


So the CBI is a possibility if we are doing OK and don't get an NCAA or NIT bid. Heck, the CBI has been known to take teams with losing records too. Oregon St once won the whole thing and was invited with a 13-17 overall record and finished the CBI with an 18-18 record.

I do like the CBI championship format where it is best 2 out of 3.
