In most cases I would agree but in this case, if ECU wants to play the best

in the country or a consistent top 10 team in baseball, they know that no public California teams can come to NC at this moment to play. Its not that UCLA, UC-Irvine or San Diego St or Cal State Fullerton would have no interest in coming if we are a consistent top 25 team year in and year out. So do we punish our team, if we can play the best and if the players want to play them. I mean some of the best college teams are in California baseball, basketball and football, both historically and current. This is just one of those things were politics is just getting in the way. Again, we can schedule home and away against private schools, for example, trying to get a home and home series with say Stanford, University of Southern California is possible but So. Cal baseball is not what it used to be either, at one time (back in the day) playing Southern Cal would have been like playing UCLA this weekend.

I guess what I am trying to say the situation is different from what is going on with Virginia Tech who are being jerks about playing us in Greenville.
