Attendance Concerns

This is somewhat stating the obvious, but, here goes.

First, winning helps. Second, our highest attendance years have alway had 1 or more P5 teams on our HOME schedule. Looking ahead, we are SUPPOSED to have USC-East at home in 2021 (I doubt that will happen), NC State in 2022, Marshall in 2023 (I know not P5, but may help attendance) and 2023 not complete, BYU in 2024.

Point being, our home schedule is NOT littered with teams that historically have spiked the interest of fans.

All the way back to Steve Logan and our days of joining CUSA. Logan would complain about our fans not embracing conference games as "important".

To finish as I started, winning will help. Lets say, for example, that if we had to beat Tulsa this past weekend to secure a spot in the AAC Championship game, would the fans have showed up? Thanksgiving weekend, or not? I wonder.

  Maybe 10 to 12,000 at the most. ** -- trinitypirate 12/02/2019 09:55AM
The cause for that success is head coach at Oklahoma. ** -- trinitypirate 12/02/2019 08:51AM
  It's still very disappointing ** -- CapnFritz 12/02/2019 08:33AM
