I think it's safe to say that...

If we were 7-4 going into the game instead of 4-7, attendance would be much higher..

I know it doesn't seem like it, but we still have a top 5 fan support in this conference. I mean Memphis/Cincy only had an announced attendance of 36k in the Liberty Bowl (60k) for two top 25 teams who are considered rivals with each other. I looked at the weather in Memphis for last Saturday and it was a perfect 68 degrees. I know they play a week later in the CUSA championship. But I am confident that if we were in that same situation where both Tulsa & ECU were ranked, we'd have at least 85-90% of the stadium full.

If we can start out strong, attendance should fix itself.
