Ftr, Art Baker was a very good football coach.

He was in the toughest position. We were broke and had to schedule a lot of guarentee games with big schools to make money. He playeded schedules no one has seen since. I recall Roger Twibell on ABC calling our October schedule something like "ECU continues it's October death this week against Miami"i think one year we played only 4 home game to 7 road. He was very important in getting players in here that led to our uptick in the 90s and he was a great guy. Just ridiculous schedules with no money. My father snd my uncle had to donate a building on 14th street so they could have a damn weight room. Very tough times.
