Given what is known about football I know nothing. That being said why does

it take more than a year of training to develop a good offensive lineman? In my uniformed opinion an offensive lineman that has professional trainers and training facilities and that is focused and dedicated should be able to accomplish a great deal in a year. I have seen individuals accomplished a great deal in other disciplines in a lot less time and with a lot less resources. I don’t understand. How hard can it be? We are not launching the space shuttle. We are just trying to give a QB 3 seconds to throw a football. Obviously I don’t know anything about football. So please someone that does educate me as to why it takes so long to develop a offensive lineman that can give a QB 3 seconds to throw a football.
