I'm with you, Turbo, on many people who resist any kind of authority, as

though it is an insult to their egos. This attitude is growing in our society on the backs of a justified demonstration against unnecessary force by policing. Our society must learn to back the citizen who has been unfairly treated by law enforcement, and hold such accountable. However, if society begins to treat all actions by police as unjustified, we will not have peace, we will have anarchy, and in anarchy, no one is safe.
I do, however, refer to two revolutions where the "machine" did not win... the French Revolution and the American Revolution. The question is not "Will the machine win?", but "Will it's replacement be horribly worse or immeasurably better?" The answer is still up in the air for our curreent times.
