Ouch, That sounds similar to what happened........

to me a few years back. I played 36 one day and at the end of the second round I couldn't swing the club. I got off easier than you. Mine was only a herniated disc. Once I healed it up I started taking some lessons and working with physical therapist for my body movement. The typical amateur swings moving the upper body first. This creates a separation of the hip/shoulder movement which exposes the back. The hips and shoulders need to start motion together to take the pressure off of the back. This also gets your body more into the swing, thus hitting the ball farther.

Of course with you, I am wondering if it was really golf after some of those GF photos you sent me. I'll give you a call soon to catch up.
