they just got into the joke Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014 while insignifcant groups and acts that have nothing to do with rock and roll got in there before them. Of course the stupidity and absurdity of the Rock and Roll Hall of fame is another subject.

I've seen them 3 times. They are terrific and one of the bands that live, sound just like they do on the albums. They were at their best with the original 7 members. Terry Kath was one of the very best rock quitarists ever. Period. Jimi Hendrix saw him play and said he (Kath) was better and later called Kath "the best guitarist in the universe." There are still 3 of the original members in the group (Robert Lamm, James Pankow and Lee Loughnane). Walt Paraziader still plays with them on special occasions.
