IMO this college football season is basically a series of scrimmages.
Not just for us but for all teams. This season doens't mean anything official in terms of official results. Between the varied number of games being played, the variation of OOC games played, the various COVID testing procedures and rules being employed, etc.
Everyone is playing under different rules and few things are consistent across the board for all teams to adhere to.
For these reasons I'm not paying nearly as much attention to the "official" game results as I am what my own eyes are telling me.
I personally consider the Navy games and the Tulsa games as wins...one due to errant COVID testing and the other due to errant officiating...regardless of what the "official" scores were.
I am happy with the improvement this team is making and hope the players don't get too down on themselves based on the final score.
