I'm asking what is the cost we are paying as a society in totality for a virus that largely is only harmful to a small segment of society? I can tell your medical background far exceeds mine, I have a background of economics so I look at everything from a opportunity cost standpoint. I concede people will die, however what is the total cost we are willing to pay? As big as a prick as I will sound; all deaths are a tragedy however not all deaths are unavoidable.

The costs associated with our "actions" will effect all age groups and will result in massive negative outcomes. Where are these type of analyses being conducted? It seems some folks seem to ignore the colleterial damage we are self-inflicting. IMO public health policy should incorporate the entire picture not just who or how many people die from a disease. Especially since April the data is much more clear than early, I have no issue with the actions taken early but we haven't essentially changed anything.
