When Steve Logan spoke to me....

This was probably in 1999. I don’t think he gave a hoot about ECU not getting into one of the BCS bowl games. He’s a smart guy and knew his teams were not that good and likely never would be that good. What drove him freaking ballistic was the coaches of WF, Duke, and NCS going into the homes and telling recruits that they should not want to play for Steve Logan because ECU was not a “BCS team!” I’m telling you, I thought his eyes were going to pierce a hole in my forehead!!! What a lot of the younger ECU fans don’t realize is that ECU and UNC were the two best teams in NC in the 1990s. They don’t understand that Southern Miss was the best team in Mississippi.
