Did you read the margin of error of the study?

The “effectiveness” of masks fell within the margin of error, thus making it statistically irrelevant. Why do you people have such a problem with statistics? This study basically said it did nothing but flowered up the language to confuse you low information folks into believing it’s was positive without having to strain yourself to look at the underlying data.

The only thing this study “proves” is masks are POTENTIALLY marginally effective, but the benefits are so low as to fall within the study’s own margin of error. In a sane world the CDC wouldve never published the study or it would’ve read like the numerous other studies on the subject, no effect of limiting the spread of respiratory viruses. I have those studies that were done pre 2019, the only thing that changed was the political climate.
