2nd that I can't understand why he hasn't played more vs LHP

give him a chance to play an entire game and get some consecutive at bats. Too much power and overall talent there not to give him the opportunity IMO.
I love Newton against the righties, and I know he was hot for a while, but he's 2 for 16 over the last 6 games.
