The author addresses the inflation issue in the piece.

As does Stephanie Kelton in ‘ The Deficit Myth’.

Your currency devaluation and minimum wage deflections are both red herrings.

We can most certainly print our way to success, as long as we maintain a sharp focus on avoiding inflation, and as long as we have as much excess productive capacity in the economy as we do currently, that is not an issue.

We have zilch for success at present; our infrastructure is in shambles, the health care situation sucks, we can throw thirty-five billion at a failing fighter jet and can’t fix a pothole or a frozen Texas natural gas supply line.

And all you idiots on the right think if we just cut existing spending, and obstruct new spending, we’ll reach nirvana.
