Since you "know" all of this your angst should be directed at the AD

who handled this like a flaming pile of dog crap. It's his job. He gets paid to be smart and ahead of things like this. To our detriment, he totally botched it. I think it is abundantly clear to all who want to see, that this could have been handled in a sound, justified, and professional manner. It could have even been handled after the fact but wasn't. Instead it has become a topic of discontent that has cost us in many ways.
