I did not notice Grosz or CJ wearing a wrist ban on Friday. If the pitches
were coming from the dugout, they were being relayed through a catcher. I was directly behind home plate, 5 seats from the radar and although I wasn't looking for that aspect, I am sure I would have noticed. The pace of play was very rapid, the pitches were coming was bang-bang.
I may be wrong. But whatever was happening did not resemble Jake and Gavin looking to the dugout, getting a call, checking their wristband, then looking to the plate to start their delivery. I hope that goes away unless the pitcher wants it. Some pitchers are very deliberate. And it may not bother them. Some appear to get in a grove like Kutch, and love coming right back at you. They know they have you and can't wait for the next pitch. It should be the pitcher's decision. [Post edited by DxeChcken at 10/17/2021 08:14AM]
