No. It's not about the point spread. Temple is a bad team.
We should beat Temple by at least three or four touchdowns and be so far ahead in statistics that by the fourth quarter we should see the backups including the backup quarterback. That is what a good coach does and does not continue to play the starters and startimg QB when the game is in hand and won.
If MH and DK call such a horrible offensive game that it is close or we are losing in the fourth quarter, then both should be run out at the end of the game. Does that satisfy you? Our progress is partial. The defense is playing well. The offense is so inconsistent no one knows which team will show up or how the play calling will be in the next game.
The on the job training continues for MH. Hopefully, at this point in his third year, he has it about figured out but we never know from game to game. The coaches have lost at least three games for us. Let's hope this is not a fourth.
I just want a complete game where we look like we know what we are doing on Off and Def. Against Temple, it should be easy. We will see how that plays out.
