Stopped at a Speedway last night and . . .

. . . this lady sees my decked out car with my colors hoisted and says “oh, you’re for EASTERN Carolina.” I looked at her and said “no m’am I’m not.” Pausing a second, I said “I’m from EAST Carolina in Greenville, NC and we play The Bearcats at 3:00 tomorrow.” We had a nice conversation and she gave us little chance of winning the game. I told her statistics, AAC ranking and National polls don’t win football games. And that’s why they lace up their cleats. I told her to check out UC’s performance when playing in Greenville and she’d quickly realize today’s game is NOT a UC “gimme.”
