Agree with this as well however

I think the more interesting stat would be overall hospitalizations compared to prior time periods, all in for Covid, flu, any other respiratory illness…..

Last Jan we had X overall, this Jan we have Y….

And another analysis I’d like to see….how many of these people that are currently being hospitalized had conditions that could have been avoided if not for lockdowns and lack of access to health care.
