1 out, runners on the corners, 3 run game, late, wanted to get another run.

JJC (lefty) batting. Called a squeeze bunt (lefty batter), JJC got a piece of it, bunted it straight down in front of the plate. catcher got up, caught it on the bounce, tagged Agnos out (he was running from 3rd) and threw to 1st base, double play, end of the inning and run threat.
Now, the batter, maybe others, thought it was a foul bunt at the plate, and wasn't full out running to 1 base. Agnos out a mile and was talking with the catcher (maybe like wasn't that foul?) .
Cliff approached the home plate blue and asked, wasn't that foul? , how could you see it? Ask for help from the 1 base ump. CG repeatedly asked the plate ump to ask for help on the call (how can you see if it's foul directly in front of the plate, IDK.) The plate ump refused to ask for another opinion from the other umps and as CG walked away, something else must 've been said and the blue tossed him while CG was walking away and had his back to him, no apparent warning to CG (some say blue should give a toss warning before the heave ho).
When he tossed CG, that's when CG got a bit animated and got his money's worth .

Bottom line my guess is CG took issue with home plate blue for not asking for help on a hard to see call, AND that he was tossed with no warning.
