They used to be the Best G5 school out there

AAC has pretty much stolen their thunder the last several years. Last big Bowl game for Boise St was 2014. With UCF, Houston and Cincinnati moving up to Power Conference, Boise St will probably be at the top of G5 Cinderella watch list again. MWC has had more parity the last several years as well. Boise can only lose 2 games max to be in the National discussion and they have done that the last several years and finished ranked in final Top 20-25 range which is a very solid season that I would love ECU to have but for Boise St if they don't make it to a NY6 Bowl game it is kind of ho hum for them. They had an amazing run from 2002-2014 that as I have pointed out with some AAC schools, Boise St did more from 2002-2014 than any team in the State of North Carolina in its entire history. NCST best finish ever was 1974 #9 in Coaches Poll and no NY6 bowl game ever. Boise St has a #4 finish two #6 finishes and a #7 all in that window of 2002-2014. They have 13 Final Top 25 finishes since our last one in 1995. Hell of a Football program. The Sunbelt newbies including App St do not hold a candle to what Boise St has done
