#5 looked terrific in field at 3b and 2b . Great “Latin” hands and he made a terrific play at 3b charging a ball. Didn’t do much at plate but he did work a 9 pitch walk after going down 0-2 in count . Looks the part for sure

#1 Dixon Williams played 3b and 2b . He made all the plays but he looked the least polished defensively . I assumed he was an outfielder he looks like one . I am not saying he looked bad just the others were all just so good

#2 Chrismon played every inning at SS . Looked very very solid with arm . Don’t remember anything at plate that stood out

8 berini looks thicker this year . He will play a lot if he can hit .

6 clonch is a smooth operator at 1b . He looked good at plate and hit a big bomb walk off yesterday . Moylan has heat behind him for sure .

JJC looked ready to roll ! Played CF (limited chances ) and hit lead off !!! Wears #3 now

25 Nowak stood out all day . He looked great . Just great . He surely has to play somewhere unless I am just crazy . Looks strong and runs like a deer .

35 Burgess is indeed impressive . He hit DH for both teams and probably had 9 AB ! Looked bad at times and terrific at others . Looks like he tries to hit strike 1 and 2 500 feet then settles down . Had a great 8 pitch backside hit off yesavage . Believe it was a 2 out rbi hit !

Holy hell zack root looks great !!! His off speed stuff is just filthy .

AMac looked like Henry Aaron in BP from right side . Weird thing happened during game though …… he batted left handed against a lefty P late in game . My thinking is coach wanted his P to face another lefty for experience . Who knows ?

17 Cunningham looked very good also

12 Riley made a great catch in RF gap robbed 17 of a double

Jordan little had a good outing with a “that’s baseball” start . First pitch he threw Wilcoxen deposited it in jungle . 93 coming in …….103 going out ! He then shut everyone down for 2 innings .
