Some of these kids pan out. Some don't. Gavin was on track to being a total disappointment to the 3rd or 4th best pitcher in the country. The same may happen to Beeker or Ritchie. And I personally trust Cliff to make that decision.
People like you sit on the sidelines with no real skin in the game and second-guess someone who has achieved a level of success that 99% of us have never achieved in our own business.
Justin Harire will never out-recruit Cliff. He may out-guess him once in a while. Look what else he has to do to win. Get his players to lean into pitches.
I hope Cliff looks for players to add that will benefit the program. But I will leave those decisions up to the coaching staff.
