exception. ECU campus is night and day different (better) than 30 years ago, from my view anyway.

As to the growth and popularity of Boone and the High Country, I’ll just say demographics.

I live in Hickory and have a vacay house in Blowing Rock. I love ECU and “bleed purple” as they say, but living in western Piedmont of NC and close to the mountains is heaven to me. As I get older spending as much time in BR as possible, at least 7-10 days per month, sometimes more. As to ASU- their booster clubs donations are nowhere near ours. They just spend it better and more wisely….by a mile IMO
