Speaking of loyalty….
To whom should a coach be loyal to most?
Assistant coaches or players?
If it’s coaches then does it hurt players who may have made it to the NFL if they had better coaching.
Assistant coaches make a good buck with a buy out clause. They had to have been good at their previous job to get to the current one where Peter’s principle might set in and all lose.
To keep the ineffective assistant or head coach too long hurts everyone including loss of gate receipts, tv interests, etc.
