Yesterday was a lot of fun but now it's back to work. We play two more
today and they will both be a tough out so the Pirates will need to
bring their A game!

The Pirates take on (1-1) UC Riverside at 7: pm ET

The UC Riverside Softball Team picked up its first win of the season
at the Kajikawa Classic over Creighton, 5-2, in seven innings.

The Highlanders split on day one, falling to Northwestern in the first
game of the day, 15-3, in five innings, before bouncing back to grab a
win in the second game.

The Pirates take on Arizona State at 9:30 ET

On Thursday No. 22 (3-0) Arizona State University softball team opened
up 2016 with a pair of dominating victories, taking down Utah State in
the opener, 11-1, before handling San Jose State, 8-0, in the second
game. Neither contest went the distance as the Sun Devils took care of
business in five innings in both games.

On Friday Jennifer Soria scored the walk-off run on a passed ball and
the No. 22 Sun Devil softball team upset No. 8 Tennessee, 5-4, on a
botched intentional walk in extra innings.
