...look a few pages back to see if anyone has posted something of interest. Almost every time it is a post on something that has meaning only to the person posting and the person he posted under. Zero interest to the rest of the board yet it will get pulled to the top and things of interest will be pushed down. If something is back 3 or 4 pages it should stay there. Of course it might cut down on those that have to have the last word in a thread if their pettiness is brought to the top.
